History

In its current form, BLECHTECH AG has been a subsidiary of the Hammer Group since the 1st of July 2013. Its headquarters were in Rümlang for 18 years. In 2015, the company relocated to Dachsen. The following year, Lidag Laserbearbeitungstechnik AG from Flurlingen was successfully integrated into BLECHTECH AG.

BLECHTECH AG is now a leading supplier partner for metal sheet products as well as mechanical assemblies. We offer a very wide range of services and have been collaborating with sub-suppliers for many years. Our portfolio of long-standing customers includes companies from the MEM industry, rail vehicle construction and advertising technology.

As from the 1st of January 1996, Blechtech AG began operating as an independent company branching away from the operational unit of Bartholet AG.

Blechtech AG was an operational unit of Bartholet AG in Wetzikon until the end of 1995. This operational unit was formed in 1991 from the companies of Akobe in Glattbrugg, Gebrüder Rehm AG in Wolfhausen and the former Blechtech AG from Dielsdorf. The early years of these companies date back in part to 1898.
